History of Department

The Troy Police Department is committed to improving the quality of life for the citizens of Troy. We strive to be open minded and creative in our efforts and constantly evaluate new and innovative methods of law enforcement and public service.

The Troy Police Department is a full service agency of 135 sworn officers and 66 civilian personnel, serving a population of approximately 83,000 residents covering 34.3 square miles.

The Department enjoys an outstanding reputation within the community as well as with other law enforcement agencies.
