Criminal Intelligence Unit
The Criminal Intelligence Unit is comprised of intelligence officers and investigators assigned to the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), the Oakland County Narcotics Enforcement Team (NET), The Balkan Organized Crime Task Force (BOCTF), The Immigrations and Customs Enforcement-Border Enforcement Security Task Force (ICE-B.E.S.T.), and the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC). The Criminal Intelligence Unit relies on information obtained from a variety of sources, including anonymous tips and confidential informants.
