The Troy Police Department Criminal Investigative Service Division is comprised of: Criminal Investigations personnel who conducts overt investigations into criminal incidents involving adult perpetrators. The Juvenile Unit wich is charged with the responsibility of addressing the complex issues of juvenile offenders and victims. The Special Investigations Unit which conducts covert and undercover investigations. The Criminal Intelligence Unit which provides criminal related intelligence information to all operational units within the department and oversees all special task force personnel and computer related investigations. The Property Unit which stores, secures and disposes of all property and evidence. The Police Department Lock-Up Operations which house and transport prisoners. ISD Personnel aid and assist the City Attorney, the Oakland County Prosecutors Office or other prosecuting agencies in case preparation and prosecution. The Investigative Service Division acts as a support unit to all other divisions, sections, units and community policing efforts within the Troy Police Department.
