Application Process -- Non-Sworn Personnel

1. The candidates shall complete the City of Troy application prior to the testing process.

2. Upon selection from the candidate list by the Department, candidates shall complete a background questionnaire. This questionnaire shall be returned to the background investigator prior to the deadline established by the background investigator.

3. If forms are improperly completed, unsigned, or returned past a deadline, the candidate will be excluded from further consideration.

4. Falsification of information contained on the application or background questionnaire will result in exclusion from further consideration or dismissal from employment if found after employment.
