The Troy Police Honor Guard was formed in 1999 by Sgt. Daniel and Sgt. Clark and is comprised of 14 sworn members of the Department. They perform various services for the City and other civic organizations within the City of Troy, including funeral details, presentations of the American Flag, parades, and other ceremonial events.
These officers volunteer their time to raise money through fund raisers to make cash contributions to the spouses and families of Police Officers killed in the Line of Duty throughout the State of Michigan. They also attend the National Police Memorial services in Washington D.C. to Honor those Officers who have given the ultimate sacrifice.
