Unsolved Crimes

August 26, 2005 Update

Troy Officers responded to 14 incidents involving family troubles/domestic disputes where investigation revealed no assaults or other crimes occurred, therefore no formal enforcement action taken/required.

A resident reported that her estranged husband assaulted her during an argument over division of assets.  He left the residence and returned to his parents house where he is staying.  Officers were unable to make contact with him there.  Investigation continues.
Residents, a mother and father, reported leasing a vehicle for their 19-year-old daughter who lives with them.  They took it away two months ago, parked it in the driveway, and placed a steering wheel lock on it.  They discovered the vehicle gone, along with their daughter.
A resident reported that her 16-year-old son left home without her knowledge or permission.  He took most of his clothing.  Apparently she discovered him smoking marijuana on an earlier date and reported that incident to PD.  She suspects his leaving is connected with that incident.  He was entered in the Law Enforcement computer as a missing person.
