August 26, 2005 Update

Troy Officers responded to 4 incidents involving individuals experiencing emotional/psychological difficulties and assisted w/transport to the hospital for evaluation/commitment.


A resident reported that her 19-year-old daughter left home and is possibly in the company of a drug dealer.  They are concerned for her welfare.  The daughter was entered into Law Enforcement computer as a missing and possibly endangered person. 
A citizen reported observing a 41-year-old female from Madison Heights lying in the grass along John R.  Officers located her; she had been drinking.  She was checked by EMS, who determined she was not in need of hospitalization.  She was driven home.
Officers responded to report of a 40-year-old female passed out on the deck of her residence at 1:18 pm on 8/24.  Upon arrival, officers discovered that the subject was highly intoxicated and in need of hospitalization.  Her three children, a 2-year-old male, a 6-year-old male, and 8-year-old female were found inside the home.  They were turned over to a grandparent who was summoned to the scene; their father was at work.  He was contacted and advised.  Protective Services is investigating.
