December 16, 2005 Update

Rear driver’s side window on '04 Dodge Ram broken out and laptop computer stolen. Laptop was in a carrying case that complainant stated also had $200.00 in cash inside.
Hickory, 12/11, 2:30 a.m.
Complainant heard a noise outside, but did not investigate. In the morning he discovered his heating and cooling work van had the side door lock damaged and side doors opened. Approximately $3,000.00 in tools was stolen.
Embassy Suites, 850 Tower, 12/12, 5:50 a.m.
'05 Cadillac Escalade had rear passenger side window broken out and in-dash stereo stolen. '06 Cadillac DTS had lug nuts removed and center caps taken. Witness observed a 25-year-old B/M wearing dark clothing standing near the attacked DTS. When subject observed him, suspect entered a red '03 GMC Yukon, followed the witness to the hotel entrance, where he challenged witness, asking if he had a problem w/him, before driving off.
Home Depot, 1177 Coolidge, 12/12, 6:30 p.m. - 6:45 p.m.
'87 Ford Econoline van had lock punched and tools stolen.
Barclay, 12/10, 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Complainant received call from neighbor advising he noticed complainant's garage door open, as well as the pedestrian door leading from the garage into the house. Complaint advised officers that he discovered damage on the driver's side door lock of his van that morning, as well as a drill stolen from the van. It appeared suspect used garage door opener from van to open garage after complainant left. Nothing missing from inside the house. A dog was home that complainant felt would have scared perpetrators away had they attempted to enter.

All four tires/wheels stolen from '05 Pontiac G6.
Drury Inn, 575 W. Big Beaver, 12/11 - 12/12, 10:00 p.m. - 5:00 a.m.
All four tires/wheels stolen from '05 Chevy Cobalt. Vehicle found on brick paving stones.
