December 16, 2005 Update

Bolingbroke, 12/12, 5:15 a.m.
House sitter stated she was awakened by the sound of breaking glass. She got up, turned lights on, and checked the house. Nothing appeared out of order. When she got up the next day, she felt a draft in a bedroom and found a pane of glass on an entry door near the locking mechanism was broken out. Officer located a set of footprints in the snow leading to and from the door to the street. A similar set of footprints was observed in the snow at the vacant home next door. No entry gained; nothing missing.
