November 11, 2005 Update

Wattles, 11/1-11/3, 12:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m.
Complainant reported someone broke into his home by forcing open a basement window. His girlfriend stated $8,000.00 was missing from a box she was keeping in a backpack in the basement. No entry made into the main areas of the home, as basement door was locked. No other boxes in basement were disturbed, nor was anything else in the house. Girlfriend claimed she was the only person who knew about the money.


Rochester, 11/4 - 11/5, 11:00 p.m. - 6:30 a.m.
Complainant reported he had a trailer parked in front of his garage, followed by his Dodge Caravan. It appears suspects entered unlocked Caravan and used the garage door opener to access the garage. They removed a Honda and Suzuki motorcycle from inside the garage, along with a Craftsman toolbox, loaded the items onto the trailer, then attached the trailer to their vehicle and drove off.
Salem, 11/3, 1:00 a.m. - 7:00 a.m.
Complainant reported someone entered his unlocked/attached garage, removed the bed cover from his P/U and stole $2,800.00 worth of golf equipment and golf clothing.
Willard, 11/10, 10:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.
Complainant reported someone entered his attached garage via the open garage door and stole his snow thrower.
(Attempt Home Invasion) Aster, 11/1 - 11/7
Complainant reports sometime last week someone tried to pry open his door wall. The lock-pin was damaged, and there were pry marks on the frame. No entry.
