November 11, 2005 Update
Complainant reported sister-in-law who had resided with her is harassing her via phone about picking up her belongings. To avoid a confrontation, complainant placed subject's property in driveway. Officers contacted subject and advised they would stand-by while she recovered her things. Subject demanded complainant return a ring that belonged to her grandmother, as well. Complainant agreed to give ring to officers who turned it over to subject at the station. 05-38663
Troy Beaumont Hospital, 44201 Dequindre, 11/5 - 11/6, 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.
A 47-year-old female complainant from Sterling Heights came to the station to report that her husband passed away in the hospital on 11/7. She discovered approximately $3,000.00 worth of jewelry was removed from his person. She stated her brother-in-law advised her that he had taken possession of the jewelry, because his brother wanted him to have it after his death. Referred to civil court.

Complainant reported his company stored $37,600.00 worth of building supplies at this location. He went to the location on 11/9 and was advised the company went into receivership a year ago and that his supplies were taken by a creditor during seizure
