November 18, 2005 Update

Sear's, 300 W. 14 Mile, 11/12, 4:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Complainant reported he locked his Haro F4 bike to the bike rack outside Sear's. When he returned, the lock was cut and the bike stolen.


Elaine, 11/5 - 11/11
Complainant reported someone stole the gas meter from the side of his residence.
Basement Storage Locker, Coachman, 11/11 - 11/14
Fenced/locked storage locker had gate pulled open enough to allow suspect to steal 3 amplifiers.
Basement Storage Locker, Century, 10/24 - 11/14
Fenced/locked storage locker had gate pulled open enough to allow suspect to steal $1,075.00 worth of collectable Christmas ornaments.
Two Office Suites at 5700 Crooks, 11/11 - 11/14, 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m.
Desktop and monitor stolen from one office; laptop stolen from another. No signs of forced entry/no damage.
Troy Beaumont Hospital, 44201 Dequindre, 11/14, 7:00 a.m. - 3:35 p.m.
Complainant reported leaving his wallet in his pants in his unlocked locker when he changed clothes for work. At the end of the day he changed back into his clothes and didn't notice the wallet missing until he arrived home. He received a phone call from a bank that holds one of his charge cards checking on two suspicious purchase attempts for $1,600.00 at a Meijer Store in Sterling Heights. Both purchases were denied.
Thunderbird Lanes, 400 W. Maple, 11/8, 12:09 a.m.
A purse and wallet were stolen that were left on tables near location where complainants were bowling. A suspicious W/M was observed bowling alone. He bowled a 64, and then quit bowling when the lights were turned down for a promotional event, and was observed walking around the areas where the tables are located. He left the building when the lights were turned back on. He is described as a W/M, 5'6", 160, thin, black shoulder length hair, shadow of facial hair/beard, black hooded sweatshirt and black pants.
Northeast Metalcraft, 2143 Heide, 11/11 - 11/14, 12:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m.
Complainant reported approximately $10,000.00 worth of metal parts he manufactured as part of an agreement with another individual were missing from the pallets on which they were stored behind the business. It appears there is an on-going civil dispute between the individual who placed the order and complainant involving the now missing materials.
