October 5, 2005 Update
Somerset North, 2800 W. Big Beaver, 9/30, 1155 hrs.
Somerset Mall Security reported taking custody of a dog that had jumped out of an unoccupied Infinity station wagon parked in the lot. The driver's side window was half down. The Security Officer stated she put the dog back inside twice, but each time it jumped back out. The second time it took off across the lot, and was eventually caught with the help of two customers before it ran into traffic on Coolidge. Several announcements were made via the mall's public address system, however no owner responded. A notice was left on the vehicle that the dog was taken to the Police Station. At 1500 hrs. the 33 year old female owner from West Bloomfield arrived at the station. She was less than cooperative. She was cited for Dog at Large and the dog was returned.
