October 5, 2005 Update

Willow Creek and Robinson, 9/30, 2339 hrs.
Officer observed an occupied '98 Pontiac Grand Prix parked on the street with its lights out.  Upon approaching he could smell marijuana, as well as see cloud of smoke inside the vehicle.  Investigation revealed three out of the four occupants had been smoking marijuana from a bong.  The bong was recovered under the front passenger side seat; a small amount of marijuana was found under the drivers seat. Two 17-year-old males from Troy were cited for Possession of Narcotics Paraphernalia, and released.  One of the males initially provided a fake name; specifically his brothers.  As a result, he was also cited for Hindering and Obstructing a Police Officer.  A 17-year-old female from Troy was not smoking, and the car was TOT her.  A 16-year-old female from Sterling Heights was smoking, and was transported to the station where her mother picked her up.  She was referred to juvenile court.  Parents of the 17 year olds were contacted and advised of the incident.  


Maple and I-75, 9/30, 2345 hrs.
Officers observed subject running across the street, and then enter a nearby restaurant parking lot.  Investigation revealed the 44 year old male from Troy had an outstanding felony arrest warrant fro failing to appear for a 3rd offense drunk driving charge.  A small amount of marijuana was found hidden in his sock, for which he was also charged.
