October 5, 2005 Update

Chilis, 402 W. 14 Mile, 10/1, 2045-2055 hrs.
Complainant indicated he took a call wherein the caller claimed a carryout order had been messed up and demanded a replacement.  When asked, the caller provided an order number.  The caller wasnt certain where the restaurant was located, which caused the manager to become suspicious, however he reluctantly agreed to replace the order.  Upon subject's arrival, the manager asked for the receipt.  The subject claimed he wasnt the caller; that he was sent there on behalf of his dad who had the receipt.  He provided an order number and received a $28.06 order.  The manager described the suspect as acting nervous, so followed him outside. He noticed the suspect parked his car across the lot rather than in the carryout parking next to the restaurant.  The subject drove off without lights in a black Plymouth Sundance.  Upon reviewing the day's receipts, the manager discovered the order number provided was bogus, and there was no order containing the items described made that day.  The suspect is described as a B/M, 20 years, 5'6, 140, wearing a pink shirt and ball cap.
