$2,000.00 worth of steel plates and scrap metal stored in bins behind the business stolen
Athens High, 4333 John R, 10,5, 1830-2030 hrs.
Cell phone and cash stolen from backpack during a polo match.
Somerset North, 2800 W. Big Beaver, 10/8, 1530 hrs.
Complainant stated she placed her bag containing $250.00 worth of purchases from Victoria's Secret on the pavement while she waited for the valet to bring her car. She stated she looked away, and when she looked back, it was gone.
Summerfield and Applewood, 10/8, 0800-1830 hrs.
Two decorative street signs valued at $500.00 each broken off poles and stolen.
South Blvd., 10/9, 1400-1550 hrs.
Complainant reported 6 bottles of prescription medications came up missing from a medicine cabinet in her residence. There was an open house, during which at least two individuals were not directly accompanied by the real estate agent hosting it as they looked through the home.
PIN, 5435 Corporate, 10/3, 1130 hrs.
Complainant reported he believes he left his wallet on his desk at work. He has been unable to locate it, and believes it was stolen.
ASTI, 888 W. Big beaver, 9/28.
Complainant reported laptop computer, digital camera, and expensive pen stolen from his office space. No sign of forced entry.
Embassy Suites, 850 Tower, 10/8, 1100-1200 hrs.
Complainant reported that while walking around a "Gem Show" being held on the property, she believes someone was able to unzip her purse, which she was carrying, and steal her checkbook, which contained $100.00 cash and checks. She stated the last time she knew for sure it was there, was at home the night before
Saleen, 1225 E. Maple, 10/6-10/7, 2300-0700 hrs.
Complainant reports $300.00 in cash and a tape recorder was stolen from her purse, which she had placed in an unlocked drawer.
Office, 2150 Butterfield, 10/7-10/10
Complainant reported laptop stolen from his desk. No sign of forced entry.
Business, 240 Park, 9/20-10/7
During inventory, business reps. discovered 11 aftermarket front grills for several vehicle models missing from the parts storage area. Total value approximately $3,100.00
Embassy Suites, 850 Tower, 10/9-10/10, 1200-080 hrs
Complainant reported attending a Gem Show at the location and leaving three shopping bags containing purchases made at the event in the closet of her room when she checked out. Upon returning, they were gone. Approximate value is between $1,500-$2,500.00.
Radio Shack, 604 W. 14 Mile, 10/8-10/9, 1800-1400 hrs. Samsung cell phone attached to a display with a cable had cable cut and phone stolen.
Whole Foods, 2880 W. Maple, 10/3
Complainant reported she lost her wallet while shopping at the store. She has since discovered someone found it and used at least one of her credit cards to make an unauthorized charge.
Athens High, 4333 John R, 9/26
Complainant reported leaving her backpack in an unlocked locker in the gym locker room. Upon returning, she discovered her wallet and cell phone missing.
