October 14, 2005 Update
Nino Salvaggios, 6835 Rochester, 10/6, 1000-1700 hrs. Window broken out of '03 Dodge Caravan and 24 CD's, a swell as clothing stolen. It appeared suspect tried to pry the window, but it broke.

'97 Chevy Astro Van parked in lot had rear window broken out and a laptop, TV, and other personal items stolen.
Embassy Suites, 850 Tower, 10/9, 1700-1930 hrs. Complainant reported she left her purse locked inside the passenger area of her '05 Chevy van while loading it after a trade show. The rear cargo area was open while she loaded, however it has a locked security gate, which separates it from the front seat area. She later discovered the purse, containing nearly $3,000.00 in cash and $5,000.00 in checks, missing. Officer located pry marks on the front passenger side door lock.

'00 Dodge Dakota parked unlocked in the drive entered, and lap top, cell phone, garage door remote, and computer hard drive stolen
Suburban Cadillac, 1810 Maplelawn, 10/8-10/10
Three Cadillac Escalades had tires and wheels stolen. Two were in the front lot; one was in a rear lot. The suspects either left the vehicles on blocks, or on the ground after removing the wheels.
Suburban Hummer, 1775 Maplelawn, 10/8-10/10
Complainant reported discovering the two front headrests with video monitors stolen from his vehicle when he picked it up from service. It had been parked in the lot.
Kirk Lane, 10/10-10/11, 1830-0910 hrs.
Unlocked '05 Chrysler parked in drive entered, rummaged through, and small amount of change stolen.
Elizabeth, 10/10-10/11, 2300-0600 hrs.
While letting her dog out at 0530 hrs. Complainant observed interior light on inside her unlocked Mercedes. The light went off. When she checked the car, she discovered two backpacks belonging to her kids, which contained their schoolbooks, stolen.
Ruthland, 10/11, 2300-0745 hrs.
Locked '95 Mercury van and a second vehicle parked in driveway broken into. Entry into van appeared to have been gained by using a slim-jim. Unknown on method of entry on second car as it was gone when officer arrived. Wallet and briefcase stolen from van. Purse and Avon products stolen from second vehicle.

Unlocked '99 Ford Mustang entered, rummaged, however nothing missing.
Bowl One, 1639 E. 14 Mile, 10/12, 1900-2200 hrs.
'93 GMC Suburban parked in lot had rear window smashed out and bow hunting equipment, as well as personal items stolen.
