October 14, 2004 Update

Officers responded to noise complaint involving several older teens playing loud music in the area. Apparently when approached by neighbors, the teens dared them to call police. Many similar complaints have been received from area residents in past regarding the same individuals. Responding officers could hear the music blaring from a significant distance away. They located a group playing football on a field in the area with a car stereo playing. The vehicle's owner, an 18-year-old male from Troy, was ticketed for Loud Music under a nuisance ordinance.
