10-15 males pulled up in three cars, exited, and approached a house where they began making threats against a 17-year-old male resident. Another resident, a 36-year-old female, advised the incident was related to a dispute that started at Sterling Heights High over "things that were said about a girl." One witness reported observing a baseball bat leaning against one of the vehicles. Vehicles described as: white Grand Prix, a blue 4-door sedan and a black 4-door sedan.

Champ's Sports Store, 608 W. 14 Mile, 10/15-10/19
Complainant reported a small male child entered his store, and then ran out carrying a small basketball. Complainant followed the child as he approached an adult female and handed her the ball. Complainant stated he walked up to the female and took the ball, without saying anything to her. Several minutes later, he was approached by a 28 year old male from Detroit who was the two year old's father, and the female's son-in-law. The subject began swearing at and threatening the complainant. Complainant reported subject began calling and threatening him at the store, as well. Subject filed a complaint with corporate offices, left his name, and apparently made more threats. Responding officer contacted the subject who denied making any threats, but admitted confronting complainant because he felt the complainant "disrespected" his mother-in-law in the manner in which he just grabbed the ball and walked away from her without providing any explanation. He claimed complainant refused to discuss the matter with him, accused his son of stealing the ball, and then swore at him as he directed him to leave the store. Subject warned about prosecution potentials, as well as arrest for trespass should he return to the store. 05-36942
