October 2005

Neiman Marcus, 2705 W. Big Beaver, 10/16, 1235 hrs.
LPO observed suspect conceal a $350.00 black Juicy handbag under his coat then leave the store. LPO followed, and observed suspect flee down a maintenance corridor, then out and into the north lot. Suspect entered a gold Lincoln Town Car and escaped. The plate registers to a male from Detroit. Suspect described as B/M, 40, 5'9, 190, mustache, wearing a brown coat and black pants.


JB Robinson Jeweler, 590 W. 14 Mile, 10/18, 1400-1409 hrs.
Complainant reported suspect entered store and asked to see a pair of diamond earrings. He returned the first set, and asked to see a larger pair. As the clerk showed him the set, he grabbed them out of his hand, stuffed them in his pocket, and fled. Store employees gave, chase however he escaped. He was last seen entering the driver's side of a bluish gray Olds Aurora with a spider web crack the size of a softball in the windshield. Earrings valued at approximately $4800.00. The car registers to a male from Pontiac. The suspect is described as a B/M, mid 20's, 5'11, 150, wearing a black ball cap with a black "D" for Detroit and a black jacket.
