Altercations/Disorderly Conduct:

Assaults:

Villa Park, 4/8, 1830 hrs.

Complainant reported her 15-year-old son was assaulted while playing basketball at the apartment complex basketball court with several of his associates.  The responsible parties were gone when officers arrived.  The details were sketchy as to what provoked the assault; however it appears a 14-year-old female from Troy was under the impression a teenage male that was part of the group playing basketball made some remarks about her she didn’t like.  She reportedly called a 15-year-old male associate who came to the scene to confront the male.  He was driven there by two 18-year-old males from Rochester Hills.  The subject he was looking for fled the basketball area when he and his associates arrived.  Complainant’s son ended up being confronted, punched and kicked instead.  Bystanders apparently intervened and broke the altercation up.   The teenaged female believed responsible for arranging the confrontation arrived at the scene after officers arrived.  She was uncooperative, refusing to answer their questions.  Her mother was summoned, briefed on the situation, and her daughter was turned over to her.
