Officers recovered a loaded .380 handgun in the glove box.  The female explained she “bought the gun from someone in Battle Creek and brought it with them when they decided to visit the area for protection.”   She stated she put the gun in the glove box when they saw the officer trying to pull them over.  She was charged with “CCW” (Carrying a Concealed Weapon).
